Department of Food Technologies

Mission of the Department is to transfer fundamental engineering knowledge in the field of the food technology to students. Based on current knowledge and contemporary processes, after the study students are skilled for production of array of food products of high quality and nutritional value.


Currently, at 6 sub-departments, along with education at pre-diplomatic, diplomatic and post-diplomatic level, scientific and professional research in the field of food technology, food production and food process design is conducted.


Department gathers significant number of respected scientists and teachers. They have extensive experience in higher education and improve their knowledge in numerous institutions abroad, ensuring continuity in education plan. Core of the Department is young scientific and teaching staff, oriented towards further development of the Department and improving professional skills of specific sub-departments.
