Croatian Society of Chemical Engineers, Faculty of Food Technology Osijek, University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek and European Federation of Food Science and Technology organize a International Scientific and Professional Conference, 13^th Ružička Days, dedicated to Leopold (Lavoslav) Ružička, the Croatian Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, which will be traditionally held in Vukovar, Croatia, on the 16^th and 17^th September 2010.

13^th Ružička Days will be held under the slogan "TODAY SCIENCE - TOMORROW INDUSTRY". The goal of the Conference is to present scientific and professional achievements in chemistry, chemical and biochemical engineering, food technology, biotechnology, medical biochemistry, pharmacy, agriculture and forestry, environmental protection and related disciplines, with an emphasis on the application of science and new technologies in the industry. The Conference will include lectures, posters and sponsored presentations. It will be a place of assembling the scientists and professionals from Croatia and abroad. The Conference will also include exhibitions and presentations of equipment and devices as well as various social events.

The topics of the Conference are:

1. Chemical analysis and synthesis
2. Chemical and Biochemical Engineering
3. Food technology and biotechnology
4. Medical biochemistry and pharmacy
5. Chemistry in agriculture and forestry
6. Environmental protection
